Hi Elina,
I was reading posts and I saw your “Hello From Richland, WA”. It is exciting to find another guitar player from Washington. I have been playing a couple of years, but like you, I need to work through my chord transition….Oh and did I mention motivation. I seem to practice more when I am responsible to someone. Maybe we can meet up someday and play music together.

When you meet someone who plays an instrument you automatically have a friend, no matter where they come from or their beliefs, which is so important in this day and age…..plus, it is just fun to play. My plan is to learn to play way better than I am able to play now. I love music and how it makes me feel inside. I want to play music with friends as well as strum away at Christmas, while we all sing Christmas Carols. We like to have friends over in the summer time and I love to sit in the backyard and strum away while we laugh and chat. Yes, to me there is nothing more soothing and uplifting than singing with friends and strumming.

I can play it, but have difficulty transitioning from one chord to another which is why I decided to sign up for this course. I love playing my guitar, and strumming along with other songs and singers. Hopefully this will help me become a much better player. I don’t really have any goals other than playing better, and playing with friends, especially on certain holidays and outside in our backyard during the summer.
