Should I wait to move to the next lesson until I can play the songs without mistakes; or shoule I push on through to the next lesson and back track as needed?

Hey Thomas, this is ultimately up to you. But I would suggest getting comfortable enough with the lesson that you can play through a song decently, meaning, without needing to pause between transitions. It’s ok if you have to play it slower and it’s ok if all the chords are not perfectly clean sounding.

In other words, you should have a decent grasp, without being perfect. That’s a good time to move on. The small imperfections will clean up with time.

You never fail until you quit!
