Hello again. My purpose in the Beginner course is to learn in a more structured environment. I am working on lesson 1 now and my goal there is to learn the chords in the G family. This is a concept that is new to me. I never have known what chords made up a key or family of chords. Also to improve my strumming. When I first started a couple months ago when I would strum my guitar it felt like the pick was going to fly out of between my fingers. I found this site by looking for how to play Long Black Train so I would like to learn that as well.

Hey Paul, that’s a great goal. Start with small steps, one step at a time, and before you know it, you’ll be playing all  your favorite songs. Have patience and don’t give up!
