    Hi Jonathan,

    I’ve been working on ‘Open The Eyes Of My Heart’ (Sonic Flood) and have a question. Do I mute the low-E with my 2-finger for the Bsus and C#m?

    Hey John, yes, that’s what I do. I let my middle finger (finger 2) touch the low E string to mute it. You don’t have to. You can just avoid hitting it with your strumming hand, but for faster songs, this can be pretty tough.

    That’s what I thought you were doing Jonathan. It does feel natural to use finger 2, so thanks for the confirmation!
