Although I’ve had a guitar for over 40 years, I only played it for about 5 years. After serving in the military for 20 years, I got more occupied when I opened up my insurance business while living in California. During all those years, my guitar was in storage. Now, I live in Texas. I have since retired and have the time to do missionary work in India and Africa and also learn to play guitar. Playing guitar is also a way to evangelize by meeting people whom are curious about the music that I may be playing, while sitting outside on the patio at Starbucks drinking coffee.

Welcome to the SG family, Tracy! I’m glad you’ve been able to pick up that guitar from the closet and dust it off. I hope this is your time to finally get to that level of playability you are looking for. You’ve got some great goals and motivators set. Best of luck to you!!
