Hello! My name is Pam, I live in Maple Ridge, BC. I have always had a passion and love for music and dance. I have performed and taught many classes as a Song and Dance Instructor. My life has always been very busy; so finding the time to learn and focus on my own interest, has had its challenges (lol). I have always had an interest in learning Guitar and now have a little more time to do so:) Looking forward to my new journey!

    Hey Pam!

Welcome to the group. So excited to have you here.

I know that a busy schedule is all of our worst enemy when it comes to learning a new hobby, even if we are very passionate about it. In the very first intro lesson, I talk about creating a practice schedule, and you’ll get a practice schedule sheet, and I highly recommend blocking out a set time to practice, even just a few minutes a day, so you have it pre-determined in your mind to practice at that time.

Even still, things happen, and stuff comes up, and if you miss a day or two, don’t beat yourself up and get discouraged. Give yourself some grace for a few off days, and get yourself back in the flow. Frustration is your enemy.

Good luck to you Pam! Keep us updated in the forums on your progress.

You never fail until you quit!

    Hello Pam,

I think you have found a great place to start!  Your dancing ability will come in handy keeping a toe tapping to the beat!

    Happy strumming to you!
