BEGINNER'S KIT
Everything you need to get started
I've compiled a list below of the items I recommend for beginners to get started playing the guitar. All of these items together are less than $200, and give you everything you need to succeed!
The Guitar
This guitar is perfect for beginners. Less than $100 but has great tone and playability.
The Case
The Jasmine S35 fits perfectly in this Crossrock case, a good substitute for the Amazon Basics case, which is no longer available.
The Strap
This leather strap will get the job done at a reasonable price. No need to break the bank here.
The Strings
These strings are extra light gauge and have a coating that gives more ease to the fingers. Finger pain is common among beginners, and these strings will give some relief so you can practice longer.
The Capo
I've had my Kyser capo for over 15 years. It's affordable, super easy to use, and lasts long.
The Tuner
This tuner is small enough to remain on your headstock forever, and uses vibrations instead of soundwaves, allowing you to tune no matter how loud your surroundings are.
The Winder
This is an all in one tool for changing your strings. A tuning winder, peg remover, and wire cutter.
The Pics
This assortment of pics gives you a variety in all gauges: light, medium, and heavy, which will allow you to experiment with what is most comfortable for you.
CHORD CHART COLLECTIONS
Get up to 50% off of chord charts when purchasing them as a collection.
