Hi Jonathan!
Just curious, as I was getting pages to print for Christmas sing alongs…. Is there a future possibility of having a downloadable songbook? Zip file? I thought it would be really nice to have one. Either way, I was able to achieve my goal and get some songs in printed form.
Thank you and Happy Holidays!

Cheryl Davidson started the topic Downloading Song Charts in the forum General Discussion 6 years ago
I have been studying Christmas songs after the Live Class, and decided to print them out. Navigating the web page was easy, but I had an odd popup message. It basically stated it recognized I was downloading, but “no worries” as I had access to them. Just curious what that popup message indicates?
Secondly, I was going to treat myself to a t-shirt from your collection for Ch…Read More

Cheryl Davidson started the topic My First Tab in the forum General Discussion 6 years, 1 month ago
I have a request. I need help with my first attempt at writing a tab. My daughter is learning “Christmas Don’t Be Late” for her school program. I decided to learn it to help her. I could not find a tab that “sounded” right, so I took the best I could find and changed it to fit my “ears”. I am able to play it, poorly; as some these are new chords to me. I actually kept moving my fingers…Read More

Hello Ms. Shawna!
Welcome to the crew and highest hopes that you enjoy renewing your interests in music.
I think your sharing with people in nursing homes is a testament to your dedication to service to others. I would bet when you are playing the people’s faces display emotions from memories of times when that personal sharing of music was exciting and full of fellowship was all they…Read More

Cheryl Davidson started the topic Master chord sheet request. in the forum Questions & Struggles 6 years, 4 months ago
Do you have a recommendation for a chord master sheet? Something that I could print out and put on my music stand? You have one for your chord families, which is wonderful for reference. I was hoping for a similar sheet with the 25-50 most commonly used chords on guitar. Please let me know where I may look (a book, publication, or a web page). Thank you in advance.

Hello Ms Peg! I am very curious about your description of “not musically inclined”. I am very very sure that there is nothing you cannot do, as long as you have the Lord guiding you and blessing your efforts. I feel that with guidance from Jonathan, and support from the student team; You will prove the opposite by making beautiful music. It will be work, but it should be plea…Read More

Cheryl Davidson started the topic Shaker egg to train for strumming consistency? in the forum Questions & Struggles 6 years, 5 months ago
I was practicing, and one of my friends asked, “Why are you pausing between strums?”
I didn’t realize I was.
He suggested I try using an egg shaker in my palm behind my pick. The idea is to keep the egg shaker going in time to the beat, when I am strumming. After trying this, I can see why he suggested it. It is giving me an audible feedback to what my wrist is doing, and is hel…Read More

Cheryl Davidson replied to the topic Trying to practice with distracting noise in the forum Questions & Struggles 6 years, 6 months ago
I lasted for about a half hour, then I did pack it up. It was a circus. I do not think I could have outplayed the loudness, as the radios/CD/MP3/boats/cars/trucks/RVs/etc… were using amplified speakers. Helped possibly because of the valley terrain, some boat radios from the lake were resounded off of the hills surrounding the park. You could hear as if you sat beside the radi…Read More
