Hey Paul, that’s a great goal. Start with small steps, one step at a time, and before you know it, you’ll be playing all  your favorite songs. Have patience and don’t give up!

Also to purchase and learn to play ukelele. Yep.

This came as a revelation to me that I did not have to be pressing down as hard as I had been on the strings about a week or so ago. I was practicing and I was going through some chords and tried playing a G chord with lighter pressure on the strings. It sounded fine. I think thats why it’s important to practice and work on the technique with finding the sweet spot of the fret and everything.

Hi Jonathan!  I just want to say that I’ve completed the 7-day challenge now, and I just can’t believe it.  I selected Amazing Grace, and I’m pleased to say that my singing is now worse than my playing.  Nothing that I play is perfect, but I have been able to pick up chord sheets from ultimate-guitar.com and get through them already.  Granted, I transpose everything into the key of G, but…Read More
