I know the frustration. As Ann said, if you can commit to just 15 minutes a day, it’ll get you progress. Persistence is important. The unclean chords will work out in time as you build callouses. My purpose: I taught myself to play as a young adult but did not continue with life happening. So now I want to complete what I started (45 years ago!) and become proficient enough that I can play worship songs at church.

I just singed up. I live in Singapore and its 15 hrs time difference. I just started 3 months ago and I really need to go back to basics as I am not progressing with the teacher here nor the other on line lessons I have been watching.
