I am a new member paid for my course November 29. In the beginning courses in the G scale won’t let me access any of the levels. Is there something I’m doing wrong I am logged in under my name. So far it hasn’t been as simple as stated

Hi Sheila,
That was the most difficult chord for me while trying to learn ‘How Can It Be’ by Lauren Daigle. It took me about a month to build my guitar callus on the pinky finger up and I had to pay extra attention to the posturing on my pinky finger to get a clean sound. The posturing that Jonathan talk about and patience was key for me. Hope that helps.

As far as I can tell all the buttons show Completed and the gold check marks are above each area. Could be all my clicking around over the past month did something strange. What I might do is unmark all and mark again at some point in time. Have a great day!

That’s what I thought you were doing Jonathan. It does feel natural to use finger 2, so thanks for the confirmation!

Hey Sheila, this will be the hardest chord to get right in the G chord family. Just keep at the muscle memory practice, going real slow, and moving your finger out of the way with your right hand if you have to. The muscles in your finger will learn to get to the new position on their own after a while, but they need time.
You can also try to play the Am7 without your pinky down, just…Read More

I am struggling playing Am7. I can’t keep my third figure out of it. Any suggestions?

Hey John, yes, that’s what I do. I let my middle finger (finger 2) touch the low E string to mute it. You don’t have to. You can just avoid hitting it with your strumming hand, but for faster songs, this can be pretty tough.

Hey John, that’s interesting. Did you double check that all the buttons are marked complete in the introduction and bonus sections as well? Because they also have complete buttons. Let me know.

Hi Jonathan,
I’ve been working on ‘Open The Eyes Of My Heart’ (Sonic Flood) and have a question. Do I mute the low-E with my 2-finger for the Bsus and C#m?
Thanks!

My course is at 96% Complete and it looks like everything is marked as complete. Just curious what the 4% I missed is as I’m struggling to find that information. Super fun course and song library!

I’m already playing and leading worship at my church. However, I’m very limited due to the lack of guitar skills. My dream is to play as an accomplished guitar player. Plus the joy of learning to play guitar gives me peace in my soul. As well as a bit of frustration. Lol

Hello Sheila, there should be a button at the bottom of each lesson that looks like this…
It says “Mark As Complete”. It’s an orange button way at the bottom. If you don’t see it, please send me a screenshot here or through email, so I can see what you’re looking at.

My page is still showing zero progress. There is nothing at the bottom of my pages to check complete. Please let me know what I am doing wrong. Thanks!

Hello,
I signed up for the Beginning course. I did the introduction section, all 3 topics, and it’s not showing I viewed the course material. What I am doing wrong?
Thank you!
Jody
