Hi Simplified Guitar Community,
My name is Chris. I currently work as a hospice chaplain visiting people who are struggling with a terminal diagnosis. I have also served as a solo pastor in a rural community and I led a college ministry at a church in St. Louis for 4 years.
I have three kids, 6,5, and almost 3. I want to be able to play simple hymns and worship music for my patients and…Read More -

Hi Gail,
You found the best online program for what you are trying to accomplish. I’m really thankful that Jonathan spent so much time and effort putting this program together. I’ve had similar goals for years and finally accomplished them following this program. Best wishes to you!!

Hey Gail, yes, you can do this!! It’s never too late. It just takes commitment and persistence, which it sounds like you have this time around. Keep at the practice without giving up and you will get there, without a doubt!

I’m Gail. I have dreamed of playing songs of Worship for 30 years. Took formal lessons in my early 50s for a full year from a great guy. Learned a lot but it just didn’t “click.” Excited to find Jonathan online…I came across many songs in his YouTube videos that I would love to learn and he has the heart of a teacher. So here I am, stepping into my sixties and starting over…Read More

After watching the first two videos in Level 1, the next step is to learn a song. However, the chord chart isn’t free (wants me to pay $1.99). Do I actually have to pay for the chord chart even though I paid for the course???

Jonathan replied to the topic Where to find the 7 day challenge? in the forum Questions & Struggles 4 years ago
Most internet browsers have a bookmark option. For instance, in chrome, you can click the 3 dots in the top right to expand the settings and choose to bookmark the simplified guitar beginner course home page, so in the future when you open chrome, the course home page will be along the top and one click away. That would be the easiest option.

Hello Iguanine, you can find a button for the 7 day song challenge on the home page of the course, along the top next to your overall progress bar.
