Hey! My name is Russell. I am 60 years old, I am a pastor, and I love playing the guitar. I guess I am a beginner, not because I haven’t played the guitar until now, because I have. But I haven’t really grown as a guitarist as I should. I have avoided learning a lot of new chords because I have enjoyed learning songs in easier chords. I can play and sing, which I guess is like walking and chewing bubblegum. It’s not all that remarkable. I have a T shirt that sums up my guitar skill. It says, “World’s Okayest Guitar Player.” I’m looking forward to learning here and moving to the next level. I am looking forward to getting to know those who learn here!

    Hi Margaret,

know that you are in my prayers for your struggles. Have you done any research on plasticity of the brain? Dr. Daniel Siegel is renowned in his work in this area. You might find it helpful to you in other areas besides playing guitar. It’s weird when I clicked on your photo space I get a site called Gravatar. I’ve never seen that before. Keep practicing you will regret it after your epiphany occurs.
